Short black hair, does not seem real muscular, but is strong. Stronger than he looks. Looks like he is more built for speed and agility. Is what he looks like in that department. Has Deep blue eyes. After he gets to the digital world, his eyes start to glow at times of extream emotion.

Personality
Usually cheery. Looks at all the details of a situation, before making a decision on how to react. Usually has a joke for anything. Has patience. Is hard to push over the edge, but, when you do, you had best get out of his way. Or, send somone else to smooth things over. Usually wont shoot the messenger for delivering bad news. Though he seems cheery, and usually is, he does tend, when he thinks he should, to hide in a dark corner. Sometimes, he will study new people from a somewhat distance. Though it is hard to gain his trust, it is not impossible. Though, he does not trust anybody toatly. This makes it hard to fake freindship and stab him in the back. Freindly, yet carefull, he gets along with just about anybody, so long as he does not think you might be working for his enemy.

Background
He lived in a large city, but also was out in the country before. They moved to the city when he was about 10. In school, he hardly ever had freinds. He always was distant from everybody. It got worse when he moved to the city. He did not like the big-city attitude. Everybody was always stabbing people in the back, and that made him carefull. Some thought he was gun-shy. Overkill. But, everybody he kept away from, eventually turned out to be trouble. He had bad luck with freinds all his life. He simply never had the luck to run into somone that would not stab him in the back. But, somehow, through his parents, he held onto the concept that not everybody is bad. He developed a thing for keeping order where there was chaos, at least, whenever he could. This developed when he was 14, and kept going, even after he met dracomon. When he first met dracomon, he did not have a digivise. He was walking home one day, not long after he turned 16, and he was attacked by a demidevimon. Having no idea of what was going on, he ran. He made it home, but his parents were not home. Just in case, he went in his room, and got his Bolo Machete. He had escaped the demidevimon, so he did not really think it would find him, but he did not want to take chances. He was right to prepare in case, because it followed him, and was hiding in shadows, which is how Shayde had no idea that he had not actualy got away from demidevimon. Demidevimon waited, and when Shayde went to look out the window, he flew right in the same window, knocking Shayde over. Just as Demidevimon was about to attack Shayde again, Dracomon materialized from the digital world, and got in demidevimons way. He beat demidevimon with a non-elemental energy blast that encased his claws. Right after that, a digivise materialised in his hand, and he, and dracomon were sent to the digital world. As soon as he got there, the Machete was transformed into a powerfull samerai sword called Masamune.
