Because of how he grew up, Zach is a loner. He perpetuates strength and independance, because that is all he has ever known. Just recently, he has grown up, and his two digimon are the only ones that he feels he can confide in. He is a very open person, but it takes a while before he can actually grow towards someone.

Background
Zach was born into an extremely wealthy family in Houston, Texas of the United States. His mother was half Spanish, half Caucasian, and his father was half African American and half Caucasian. Both his parents were popular TV personalities of two separate shows that aired only in the southern states. About 2 years after Zach was born in Houston, his parents moved to a large Spainard Estate that his mother had inherited. When Zach was 6 years old, his home was invaded by some Cross Continental, Modern Day Pirates. They killed both his parents, and left as the police cavalry came to back up security. The Pirates escaped with nothing. After months of legal battles, Zach inherited the house, and 573 Thousand dollars of lost funds. His Uncle and cousins moved into the house with him. His uncle confiscated all of his money beacuse he was the legal guardian, and he spent it ensuring that Zach was awarded the best education. Well, that was what Zach was told, in truth, his uncle spent the remainder of the money on himself. Zach was dictated to be a child with advanced intellgence, just short of genuis, upon taking a test at 11 years old. It was shortly after, he began to investigate funds and find out the lies and deciet he called a life. He fled from his luxurious home after an arguement with his uncle, and took to the streets. It then that his strong, and loner exterier began to emerge. Though he was strong, he needed protection, and Ophanimon passed his digivice to him, through the real world, along with two digieggs. He felt instictive to nurture these two eggs, and that is just what he did. He hatched them, and they grew up into SilphyPatamon and Koemon. Until he was 13, they were his protectors, ensuring his health and safety by all means, which soon meant fighting evil digimon that Realemon sent over to kill him. Over the next year, he became a very ruthless fighter, taking out every digimon as fierce as he could. His two digimon at times, even passed on to the Champion level to fight a threat. When he was 15, he was fighting a powerful digimon that had this unbeknownest abiltity to mimic its opponent. Upon being mimiced, Zach saw how evil he, himself, was beginning to become. He had a huge epiffany, and changed the errors of his ways for the better, and as reward, was given the Crest of Life, to assist him in his new saught goals. A few months 16th birthday, he crossed over to the digital world, and saw that he and his two digimon were in the middle of a warzone. And now, as he reaches the halfway point to being 17, he is being approached with more difficult tasks, but still keeping in mind, the desire to cleanse and protect digimon.
